Goat's Milk Soap
Hand made goat milk soap is now available!
Using the milk from my little goats is a most rewarding endeavor.
It is the only soap we use! Once you try it, you won't want
to go back to any other soap.

Made with 100% natural ingredients including goat's
milk, olive oil, coconut oil, palm oil, vegetable oil, Shea butter,
Jojoba, beeswax and oatmeal. Why goat's milk?
Goat milk has been used for centuries to help beautify skin. It
contains over 50 nutrients, including vitamins A, C, B1, B6, B12,
and E, minerals, citric acid, amino acids, unsaturated fatty acids,
enzymes, and a variety of other nutrients that nourish and revitalize
dehydrated skin. Vitamin A slows down the effects of aging, prevents
brown spots and thickening of the skin, while Zinc contributes
to the reconstruction of collagen fivers, encouraging moisture
retention and assisting in maintaining your skin's elasticity.
The alpha-hydroxy acids found in goat's milk rejuvenate the skin's
cells and create a healing process. Goat milk soap is recommended
by dermatologists for dry, itchy skin. It is also known to relieve
eczema, psoriasis and acne. Why is the soap
brown?
Each batch of my soap turns a variety of shades of brown. This
is due to the way goat milk fats and protein combine with the
lye in the soap making process as well as the choice of combinations
of oils used. Once the curing process is through, the lye is no
longer present and what remains is a mild, hydrating, natural,
soap. I do not add any extra ingredients to my soap for color
or fragrance, in order to keep it natural for the skin.
Why Jojoba, Shea butter and oatmeal?
I use a goat milk soap recipe which I learned to make at the 2007
AGS Convention. The combination of ingredients is variable but
they are all natural and help prevent the loss of your skin's
natural moisture, softens and keeps it younger looking. Jojoba
is especially helpful in conditioning skin. It is suitable for
all skin types, beneficial for acne, unclog pores, restores and
conditions the skin. It is an excellent emollient for skin conditions
like psoriasis, because it has a chemical composition very close
to the skin's own sebum. Any questions about specific ingredients,
just ask! Cost?
Pictured are the three choices of soaps at this time. (Three small
round soaps, fabric wrapped bar, goat head bar.) Cost is $4.00
each plus shipping. Please e-mail
orders to me and I will give you approximate delivery time. |
