Zeus' pedigree is full of influential animals of the breed and he is a fine example to carry on their legacies. Being very long bodied, correct feet and legs and beautiful breed character about the head. Zeus is an absolutely stunning buck when you see him in person. The kids he has produced have been beautiful. I am a fortunate and a very proud owner of this exceptional buck.

Zorro is a product of the excellence in dairy quality that Piddlin Acres' reputation in quality breeding represents. Check out his grand sire Bonzai for reference. Zorro is pictured here as a yearling and I am anxious to see how he fills out (Bucks continue to develop for 3-5 years.) Zorro is small, correct and well proportioned to his size. His dam Giselle is also very small. He often looks like he's striking a pose which is rare if you've ever tried photographing goats in the barnyard. His blue eyes and flashy color also make a handsome picture.

I am so very excited and proud to add this awesome buck as a new herd sire! Just take a look at his pedigree and dam and sire's bloodlines and show records. Legacy's dam, Thyme, recently earned the title of Grand Champion Sr. Doe in Milk, Best of Breed, and Best Udder with over 30 Sr. Does in the competition! This is just the start of her show season! I can't wait to see the influence this guy will have in his offspring.

Kaapio Acres Rip Tide has a "sea" of show quality dairy genes, having both Scarlet and Parsley bloodlines. (CH/MCH/PGCH Gay-Mor B Lacewing's Parsley is the 2007 National Grand Champion Sr. Doe. and CH/MCH/PGCH Kaapio Acre's Red's Scarlet earned her ADGA, AGS and NDGA Champion titles). LTE Bambusa, Bambi's dam, was named Grand Champion Sr. Doe in Milk under both the ADGA and AGS judges at the 2008 Georgia Show. Bambusa is owned by Randy Repp of Little Tot's Estates. His dam Bambi has just started in the show ring and as a first freshener in a large class placed 2nd in the 1 to 2 milker does class. In addition, he is one of the sweetest bucks I've ever met!

NEWS 2010: Kaapio Acres Bam Boo (Rip Tide's full sister) won Grand
Champion Jr. doe at the 2010 ADGA show in Michigan. Bambi (Rip Tide's dam)
won Grand Champion Jr. doe and Reserve the day before in a class of 68 does!!!
In addition, Tidal Wave (Rip Tide's sire) won his 1st ADGA leg in Ohio.
He has won Reserve or Grand Champion buck in every show he's competed in
at this point this year (2010).

A better photo will be coming soon but looking at Gandalf's sire and dam give you a good idea of the "stuff" Gandalf is made of. I was so impressed with both his Flapjack and Poppy, I couldn't resist retaining Gandalf. It is known when selecting a young buck, it is important to look at the quality of his parents and grandparents. Take a look at Flapjack (photo under reference buck), and Poppy (Grand champion Jr. doe) to see Gandalf carries quality dairy genes. Although he appears to be white in this photo, he is actually gold and white in color like his dam.

Sharon Dean (owner of Pioneer) states, "'Pioneer' passes on wonderful mammary systems to his kids - their udders have been high in the rear, with very good attachments and well extended fore udders, good sized teats and large orifices. I am also very pleased with his overall conformation. He has great rear angulation, plenty of depth in his heart girth; wide, flat and wide ribbing and a nice topline, all of which he consistently passes onto his offspring. Jack is polled and has excellent overall conformation. He has an outstanding tightly attached shoulder assembly, a very uphill stance, excellent leg angulation and width of escutcheon. He also has flat, open ribbing, a long level rump and thin, loose dairy skin. One of his daughters just took Jr. Championship at the Minnesota State Fair.
